Kiqo, Inc. (“Kiqo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a learning platform for K–5 students. We value your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information.
Information We Collect
Parent/Admin Accounts: First name, last name, email, organization. Billing handled via Stripe.
Child Accounts: First name, last name, learning level.
Usage Data: Uploaded files, questions asked, timestamps, activity/inactivity, interventions, badges, overall stats.
Chat Transcripts: Retained until the parent/teacher deletes the account, for review of learning patterns.
Voice Data: Received but not stored.
Location & Device Data: None stored.
Technical Logs: Managed by Supabase and AWS CloudWatch.
How We Use Information
Provide lessons to child accounts.
Allow parents/teachers to review learning progress.
Authenticate accounts and operate services.
Process payments through Stripe.
⚠️ Note: We do not use transcripts for marketing or product training.
Sharing of Information
Information is shared only with service providers: AWS, Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI. We never sell personal data.
Data Retention & Deletion
Transcripts & Logs: Kept until account deletion.
Backups: Retained up to 90 days for disaster recovery.
Account Deletion: Once implemented, will permanently remove all data.
Security
Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Role-based access via Supabase and AWS IAM.
Age Restriction
Only parents/teachers 18+ may create accounts. Children cannot sign up directly.
